How much does it cost to hire a DJ?

Great question and the honest answer is: it depends on the experience you’re looking to create. No two events are the same. A peak-season wedding requires a very different level of planning, energy, and production than a smaller or more casual event. Because of that, pricing is tailored to fit your specific vision.

Here are the main factors that influence cost:

Day of the week – prime dates like Saturdays are in highest demand

Time of year – peak season (late spring, summer, fall, and holidays) vs. off-season

Event length & timing – including extended hours or late finishes

Travel & location – events outside of our standard service area may include a travel fee depending on distance and logistics

Solo DJ vs. DJ Company – a solo DJ often has lower overhead, which can allow for more flexible pricing. You’re also typically working directly with the person who will be performing at your event, creating a more personal and consistent experience. With larger DJ companies, pricing may reflect additional staff, office space, and expanded production, but you may not always meet or work directly with the DJ assigned to your event.

Enhancements – premium lighting, MC services, ceremony audio, and other upgrades that elevate the overall experience.

We’re also happy to work within a range and help you get the most value for your budget, while still delivering an experience your guests will remember.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weddings and peak season dates (May–October). Many couples secure their date 8–18 months in advance.

A signed agreement and deposit are required to officially secure your date. Once those are received, your event is locked in.

Absolutely. We offer a video consultation to go over your vision, music preferences, and event details so you can feel confident moving forward.

All packages include a professional DJ, sound system, dance floor lighting, planning tools, and music tailored to your event. Additional enhancements like uplighting and karaoke are also available.

Yes! Every event is different, and we’re happy to tailor a package to fit your needs, timeline, and vision.

A deposit is required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due closer to the event. Full details will be outlined in your agreement.

Of course. You’ll have access to a planning portal where you can select must-play songs, preferred genres, and special moments.

Yes! We can take requests during the event while still respecting your preferences and “Do Not Play” list.
